Electroless Nickel Plating
Electroless Nickel deposits are functional coatings. Electroless Nickel Plating is an excellent application for salvage. We can plate diameters of holes, internal bores and threads to bring a part back to its correct tolerance.
Electroless Nickel Plating is excellent for the following: Corrosion protection, Wear resistance, Hardness, Lubricity, Solderability, Uniformity of deposit, Salvage. We offer both high phosphorous and low phosphorous. Rockwell after plating ranges from 44-48 on the C scale heat treatable to high 60s C scale. High phosphorous is used most often because of excellent corrosion resistance.
Our low phosphorous consists of 1-3% Phosphorous, an excellent application if the primary concern is hardness, as plated 58-62 C scale, heat treatable to 70 C. The advantage of hard plating with even deposition.
